"And do not drive away those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, they desire only His favour; neither are you answerable for any reckoning of theirs, nor are they answerable for any reckoning of yours, so that you should drive them away and thus be of the wrongdoers"

A JEWISH PRAYER

The purpose of prayer - To remember God alone (6:162; 20:14)

If a praying Jewish brother or sister was shown the above verses from the Quran which ratified the prayer in their scriptures and practice, would they vouch for the veracity of those Quranic verses or would they reject them as false?

005.048 (part)

"...To each among you have we prescribed a law (Arabic: Shir-atan) and an open way (Arabic: waminhajan). If God had so willed, He would have made you a single people, but (His plan is) to test you in what He has given you: so strive as in a race in all virtues. The goal of you all is to God; it is He that will show you the truth of the matters in which ye dispute”

It is an acceptable argument that the Muslim prayers are in tandem with ancient Jewish prayers (as the Quran confirms previous scriptures and guidance). However, as the audience in mind for the purposes of this article are primarily Muslims, the specific title above has been chosen.
