The purpose behind creation
is not merely divine pastime or play. There is a meaning, a function, a goal and
an inevitable end.
Mankind have been created and endowed faculties to make choices, to recognise the truth and to
strive for what is fair and just. We must therefore continue to uphold these
values throughout our transient lives striving for high morals, values, acts
of piety, justice and truth. We are also expected to recognise our Creator as an
unseen transcendent Reality with our innate power of reflection and observation
of all that surrounds us in the Heavens and the Earth.

"And
We did not create the Heaven and the Earth and what is between them for mere
play / sport. If We intended that We take a pastime, We could surely have taken
it from the things nearest to Us, if We would do (such a thing)!
Nay!
We cast the truth (Arabic: bil-haqi) against the falsehood (Arabic: l-batili), so that it breaks its head,
and lo! falsehood does perish! and woe to you for which you ascribe!"

Mankind will find that
they are indeed put into situations often complex where truth and falsehood
stare face to face. Only those who with their power of volition make choices which
strive for justice, fairness and truth can but hope to succeed in the hereafter.

“O you who believe!
Be
custodians of justice, as witnesses to God,
even if it against
yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and
whether it be (against) rich or poor: for God can best protect both. Follow not
the lusts (of your hearts), less you deviate, and if ye distort (justice) or
decline to do justice, then indeed God is well-acquainted with all that you do”
